Swamp Iris--Seney is a beautiful Iris my husband and I found blooming along the edge of one of the many ponds at Seney National Wildlife Refuge. We had experienced a torrential downpour just a little earlier so the sky and water were still grey and everything was dripping wet. The Iris was blooming unhurt by the hard rain among hundreds of others.
