Northbound Fall Fog was observed one early September Sunday morning the sky was a terrible combination of tomato soup with orange juice streaked through it. An ocean going freighter was observed going south and with this unusual horrid sky behind it made the scene unappealing. As I turned down an access road to the beach the sky changed. It was like a shade was pulled up, the color of light changed and  and there to my left was this 60's era Great Lakes freighter northbound in a beautiful wispy, fog wrapped pink sunrise. What a difference 2 minutes makes, WOW. I am so glad I did not give up on that sunrise.

Northbound Fall Fog was painted on Arches 140# Cold Press Archival Rag watercolor paper with Winsor and Newton Professional watercolor paints.

Northbound Fall Fog is presented for sale matted in a 2 inch wide pale flecked grey Archival Cresent Rag Mat, mounted with archival tape, a provenance is attached and it is framed in a champagne gold rope frame.
