Fall Sentinel is a painting of the Fort Gratiot light tower at sunrise one October morning. It was a surprise to see everything blazing peachy orange on the tower and the beach grass because the clouds in the sky were just pale. They gave no hint that as I had turned and drove down the street I would be greeted by this view. Sunrises always provide inspiration and never fail to mesmerize me.
This painting was painted on Arches 140# archival rag paper with Winsor Newton professional watercolor paints.
